Oh Johnny Damon, the man whose departure from Red Sox Nation to the Evil Empire broke many a baseball fans hearts.  Time has passed an wounds have healed so I feel safe to post this entry.  The one time home of Johnny Damon sold off for $8 million in 2007 (after buying it for $5.555 million – not too bad there), is back on the market (now with trendy zebra-patterned rug!). The 2,100-square-foot, 3BR, 3.5BA apartment is asking $8.9 million this time around.  Interested? It is a beauty even if once owned by a Boston traitor.

This unit stinks – who buys an $8MM penthouse and doesn’t furnish / decorate the place? That is pathetic – it looks like a cookie cutter, new construction unit in Waltham ought to look. Boston continues to have no style, which is why Johnny Damon left in search of better broads and greener pastures.

    • @ Victor – It was purchased in 2007 for $8 million and is now back on the market 3 yrs later for $8.9. I love this building – One Beacon in NYC although it is not my favorite NYC building. Also it is furnished/staged – see photos. I would not mind living here — Hey current owner can we move in?
