Citibank pays big bucks to rename Wang Center

How much would you pay to see your name in lights? Well, Citibank thinks $34 million sounds about right. The payment will come over the next 15 years and will help the now stuggling Wang center get back on it’s feet.
Citibank may have paid a lot but they expect it to be a good investment. With Bank of America and Citizens Bank dominating the Boston landscape, Citi’s needed to do something drastic to announce their presence in the Boston market. According the Globe, Citibank is currently opening two locations with another 30 locations to be up and running within 12 months.
